This was her “Debut” with Desert Riders (a club started in 1930). She was a star and everyone complemented her looks, manner and how calm she is!!! The first time I took her to Joshua Tree ponying her on an informal ride with a a few friends, I got three phone calls with offers to buy her!!! The funny thing is that NONE of them would EVER have even thought of getting an Arabian!!!

I know you receive a million emails on how wonderful Varian breeding is. I just wanted to add to that. My beloved heart horse, Karalace Bey+, was bred to Major Mac V. This breeding was a spur of the moment breeding. I had a lovely talk with Sheila and Major Mac was her choice for my mare. My filly is 1 1/2 now and I could not be happier. She is growing up out in pasture with Dean and Sheri Lacey. The Lacey’s are more than impressed with this filly, which coming from people that have lived and breathed the breed for generations, one can appreciate their opinion. I unfortunately lost my Karalace last month to parotid melanoma......this filly has big shoes to fill, but seeing her and handling her tells me that she will be more than up to that challenge. Look for her in the future. She will be shown and then will follow in her mommas footsteps out on the endurance circuit. Never did I think that I would own, let alone breed, a mare of this caliber. Thank you for your continued dedication to Sheila’s vision of this amazing breed!!!
