Tamerlan Spring is a 3/4 Arabian mare who shows potential as a western pleasure or sport horse competitor. She is very typey and would best be suited to a smaller rider as she stands approximately 14.2 hands. Her kind and willing disposition will make her an ideal amateur mount.
Tamerlan Spring is a paternal sister to multiple regional champion sport horse mare and regional reserve champions sport horse under saddle Promise Meeroses V. Her sire, Scottsdale Top Ten Halter Mr Mereeke V, is a paternal brother to four times National Champion in halter Fortune VF, to to Canadian National Champion Stallion and Stallion AOTH and National Champion sire Spitfyre VF, and to National winners in hunt pleasure and western pleasure. He is by multiple National Halter Champion TF Psymreekhe. TF Psymreekhe is a full brother to U.S. Top Ten Yearling Filly Psyerra VF and multi-regional hunt pleasure champion Psaint VF+.
Mr Mereeke V's dam Majors Tiffany GA is the dam of the Varian head sire Major Mac V, sire of National Champions in sport horse in hand, halter, western pleasure, andcutting, as well as National winners in trail, ranch riding, sport horse under saddle, performance halter and hunt pleasure. She a paternal sister to multiple National Champion Mare Major Love Affair (dam of multiple National Champion Stallion El Chall WR) and to U.S. National Champion Yearling Filly Ames Jasmine (dam of 3 National winners including a Top Ten English Pleasure winner and a National Champion in halter).
Tamerlans Spring is out of the Half-Arabian mare Najadah, a halter champion and Scottsdale Top Ten winner in Half-Arabian hunt pleasure. She is sired by the paint stallion Sir Charles McCue, who traces in sire line to the paint foundation stallion Kingfisher, a grand champion in halter and performance points in reining and western pleasure. Kingfisher's shown offspring earned points in halter, showmanship, western pleasure, western riding, and reining. Najadah is also linebred to the noted Quarter horse Skipper W, a member of the AQHA Hall Of Fame, who sired 3 World Champions. Najadah's purebred Arabian dam, LT Ja Zamora, is a champion in halter and sport horse carriage driving and the dam of a Top Ten Half-Arabian English Pleasure winner. LT Ja Zamora is a paternal granddaughter of *Tamerlan, sire of National winner in halter and performance. *Tamerlan is also the maternal grandsire of U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion Padrons Psyche. Other notable in LT Ja Zamora's heritage are National winner sire Nitez, U.S. National Champion Stallions and National Champion sires Synbad++ and *Bask++, National Champion Formal Driving, multiple Top Ten Park and multiple National Champion sire Abaskus, and National Champion sire Ferzon, to whom LT Ja Zamora has three lines. Tamerlans Spring was bred to be a good athlete and she should delight an amateur rider once she gets under saddle.
She can have the V added to her name and can be branded with the V because of her sire Mr. Mereeke V.
Starts under saddle training in October with Jaime Hernandez.
