Breeders Sweepstakes

Lakisha El Jullyen V is a treasure. Seldom will you find a *Jullyen El Jamaal daughter for sale, and it is even rarer to find one who is a well-trained riding horse with the heritage to be a top broodmare as well. Lakisha El Jullyen V is the last daughter of the dynastic Varian Hall Of Fame mare La Kelila, dam of 9 champions, 3 of them National winners.  Lakisha El Jullyen V is a 3/4 sister to twice Top Ten Hunt Pleasure and twice Top Ten Western Pleasure Lancelot El Jullyen V (who is by *Jullyen El Jamaal out of a La Kelila daughter). Lakisha El Jullyen V is a 50% blood sister to multiple Top Ten Western Pleasure and Western Trail Lolitas Jamaal+/ and to multiple National Champion Hunt Pleasure PA Lucchese Always++//, both by sons of *Jullyen El Jamaal out of daughters of La Kelila.

*Jullyen El Jamaal daughters have won National Championships in halter, western pleasure, hunt pleasure and dressage. They are also cherished broodmares and are highly sought after as they nick well with many different bloodlines. They have produced National Champions in halter in the U.S.A., Austria, Brazil and Libya. Their offspring have won National titles in working hunter, hunter hack, sport horse under saddle and english sidesaddle and National Championships in sport horse show hack, hunt pleasure, western pleasure and pleasure driving. The nick of *Jullyen El Jamaal on a daughter of *Sanadik El Shaklan has also produced Marilyn V (dam of National winners in halter, western pleasure and hunt pleasure) and Merrily V (dam of a National Champion in western pleasure).

Lakisha El Jullyen V's dam La Kelila was among the best of the *Sanadik El Shaklan daughters bred at Varian Arabians. Her 9 champion offspring include U.S. Reserve National Champion  Dressage Type Sport Horse Stallion ATH Lakota Mac V, U.S. Top Ten Western Pleasure and Hunt Pleasure AOTR 40/Over and National Champion sire Latigo V (sire of U.S. National Champion Western Pleasure WC Laredo) and 29 time National winner La Paz V+//, a National Champion in country pleasure, show hack and native costume. La Kelila is a member of the Varian Broodmare Hall Of Fame, as are four of her daughters. Lolita V has produced 7 champions including 3 National winners in reining, western pleasure and western trail. Lovely Lady V's 4 champion offspring include a National Champion in country pleasure driving. Lalique V is also the dam of 4 champions, 3 of whom have National titles in sport horse in hand, dressage, hunt pleasure and western pleasure including U.S. Reserve National Champion Hunt Pleasure Futurity and multiple regional halter champion Lightning Strike V. La Kelila's daughter Lily Dancer V is the dam of 7 champions including 4 National winners-two are National Champions in hunt pleasure and two are National Champions in western pleasure! Don't miss your chance to purchase a lovely riding mare who has the potential to produce National winners for you!

"I purchased Lakisha at a Varian Spring Fling about 10 years ago.  She has grown into a lovely mare.  She is extremely well trained, having been started at Varian with Jaime Hernandez, then trained with a natural horseman here in Wyoming.  I entered her in multiple ACTHA (American Competitive Trail Horse Assoc) events.  However, most of our riding has been in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, the forests around Jackson Hole Wyoming and a few trips to Bryce National Park.  We get to the V6 ranch in Parkfield, CA as much as possible!  She has outstanding endurance!  We frequently ride 8 to 10 hours.  I ride her most in a snaffle, but she also goes well in a Salinas port.  She crosses water, tarps, bridges, and anything else we have pointed her towards.  She has confronted Elk, Deer, Moose and Bear.  She is extremely comfortable to ride. She walks very fast and even does some single-footing!  She will lope as slow as other horses walk or hand gallop for a costume class!”  ~ Ronai White

She is presently at Varian Arabians being ridden by Andres Castanos.
