Varian Breeding Dominates Both $100,000 English & Western Futurities
The two most lucrative individual classes of the year – the $100,000 AWPA Western Pleasure Futurity and the AEPA $100,000 Saddle Seat Futurity – were absolutely dominated with horses carrying Varian blood. In true fashion, Varian lines represented the top competition in opposite divisions, being found in all but one of the 19 horses that made up the Top Ten, Reserve Champion and National Champion of both classes. Each year is a stunning reminder of just how deep Varian lines can be found in our modern-day champions.
