Qualities
Bravado Bey V is a halter horse that trots under saddle, a nearly impossible accomplishment in today's big trotting English horses and level crouped halter horses. Bravado Bey V has tremendous charisma, excellent bone and feet and talk about length of neck!
Bravado Bey V is a stallion of extreme smoothness, with a neck and poll of amazing length. A pretty face with a dynamic spirit and personality, Bravado Bey V can trot as well as show in halter.

His
Sire
Huckleberry
Bey++, 1979 U.S.
Reserve National
Champion Futurity
stallion and 1984
U.S. National
Reserve Champion
English Pleasure
Horse, is unquestionably
the leading sire
of important breeding
sons. His show
horses are at
the top of the
list in Performance
and Halter, and
have been for
many years. Besides
the stallions,
Huckleberry Bey++
has sired mares
that are exceptional
show horses as
well as broodmares.
In 1995, both
the Heritage Champion
yearling colt
and the Champion
Heritage yearling
filly were out
of Huckleberry
Bey daughters.
Huckleberry Bey++'s
legacy has set
a new type and
has added his
own distinct look
and trainability
to our breed.
Bravado Bey V
traces through
National Reserve
Champion Huckleberry
Bey++ to National
Champion Bay-El-Bey++
to National Champion
Bay-Abi++, becoming
the fourth generation
of Varian breeding
through the sire
line.
Performance
At Scottsdale 1995, in
a very large 3 year old
colt class, Bravado Bey
V was awarded Top Ten 3-Year
Old Colt, and was certainly
a show stopper. In his second
show, Bravado Bey V won
the Region 3 Champion Stallion
title in Reno, Nevada, over
18 mature stallions.
In 1996,
Bravado Bey
V was Scottsdale
Top Ten Stallions
4 and 5 years
old and Southern
California
English Pleasure
Maturity Champion.
In 1997, Bravado
Bey V was
Scottsdale
Junior English
Pleasure Champion.

As
a five year
old, Sheila
Varian showed
Bravado Bey
V to a Unanimous
Region 2 Champion
Stallion over
three National
Top Ten Stallions.
In Scottsdale
1998, Bravado
Bey V won the
English Pleasure
Stallions and
then traded
in the Championship
coming out with
Reserve Champion
English Pleasure
Horse with Stanley
White, Jr. up. At
the Sierra Empire
Arabian Horse
Association
Show, held April
25 & 26,
1998 in Pomona,
California,
Bravado Bey
V came away
with the Champion
Stallion ribbon
for 5-14 year
olds, as well
as with the
Supreme Champion
ribbon. At Scottsdale
1999, he brought
home the Reserve
Championship
for English
Pleasure. At
the 2000 US
Nationals, Bravado
Bey V was Top
Ten English
Pleasure, being
shown by Stan
White, Jr.

"Don't
take our word for it..."
Bravado
Bey V Testimonials |
|
I love this
colt, Razcal
Bey (x CA Rufflesnlace).
Our plans are to take him
to the Nationals next year
in the futurity class and
then start him under saddle.
Whatever he does I am sure
he will do it well.
Thanks
again,
Kathleen Polscan
SD
Forutnate Son (x Firefly
V) was Champion AOTH Yearling
Stallion at the Pacific Royal
Autmn Classic in Centralia,
Oregon in August. My husband
David had never been in a
ring before. In his very first
show last Spring, Golden Gate
Arabian Horse Show, David
won his class. We are really
having a good time.
India
Burke Sierra Dorada Arabians
About two years ago I bought
the most beautiful horse in
the world, Milagro
V (x Miz
Molly V). He is rather small
in size but large in heart
and huge in energy and try.
His trainer says that when
he is trained, I will just
need to think about what I
want because he is so sensitive
that one need only "just
ride the hair". Sensitive
he is, but very agreeable,
with an older less accomplished
rider. I look forward to many
years of happy trails and
arena work.
Thanks, Sheila
to you and all of the fine
people of Varian Arabians.
