Sire:
Baske Afire is sired by Afire Bey V who was bred by Varian Arabians and has been the leading sire in the breed ever since he took over that distinction from his sire Huckleberry Bey++ several years ago. Baske Afire has been exceptionally well received and his foals are winning in both Halter and under saddle.
Dam:
Bel Aire’s dam, Balquelotta V is a trotty mare that is lovely with a refined face and neck. She traces to our great foundation mare *Bachantka that Varian Arabians imported from Poland in 1961. *Bachantka was a ¾ sister to *Bask and carries the strongest female line in the Varian program.

Testimonials:
I was greatly surprised and pleased with my Bel Aire V colt, Sir Bask Duette, last spring. But I am even more pleased this year. My Fadjur bred mare had a big red chestnut colt with great legs, shoulder, and hip. But I got a perfect little bay filly out of my other mare, the dam of Sir Bask Duette. In some ways, LadyBel is even better than her full brother, with a perfect Arabian type. She is definitely a keeper, and I look to her to replace her dam as my foundation mare. I now have three Bel Aire V offspring by two different mares, and I couldn't be more pleased. He has given me consistent high quality foals.

Wow, Wow, Wow!! Just wanted to congratulate you on how well you all did at the Whittier show! The more I see Bel Aire winning at these shows, the more excited I become to breed to him next year. What an absolutely astonishing young stallion you have, Sheila! I'm sure you're very proud of your horses.
