VARIAN ARABIANS *UP TO THE MINUTE*

Congratulations to the National winners in Tulsa

We send congratulations to all the owners that made this years' US Nationals a great one for Varian Arabians. 124 horses either bred by Varian Arabians or by Varian bred stallions or out of Varian bred mares were winners in across the board disciplines. 124 purebred Arabians won 24 Championships, 25 Reserve Championships and 181 Top Tens.

Nominee: Sheila Varian

Thee final voting for the leading horseman and horses for The Arabian Times Magazine is now underway. You can vote by going to www.ahtimes.com and voting for your favorite people and horses. I am very pleased that I have been nominated for the finale voting as Horsewoman of the Year and Breeder of the Year. Vicki Lynott's beautiful black Mariachi Kid V is nominated for the final voting of Western Horse of the Year and Afire Bey V as Sire of the Year. Take the time to look it over and join in the voting.

Varian Arabians has just shipped 3, *JULLYEN EL JAMAAL coming yearlings to Scottsdale for Jeff Shall to show in the Scottsdale Yearling and Signature Stallion classes in February along with the many, many Varian Bred horses that will show. These are two exceptional fillies and a colt that have all the beauty and correct conformation going for them to be very competitive anywhere in the world.

Kwesturas Juell V
Santa Barbara V
Master Jullyen V

Audacious ps
at Scottsdale

AUDACIOUS ps will have his first foal crop coming in the spring as a Varian owned stallion. As a 15 year old stallion Audacious is simply magnificent and as the oldest halter competitor showing in Scottsdale Audacious was named Reserve 8 and over Champion Stallion with Jeff Shall at his lead.

Lightning Strike V
at Las Vegas

LIGHTNING STRIKE V, sired by Audacious ps x Lalique V, was Champion of his yearling age group, representing as well as the World Cup Reserve Champion in Las Vegas. Lightning Strike V is one of the best young horses I have bred. Jeff Shall has committed to showing Lightning Strike V as his Junior Nationals Stallion in 2011. Until that time Lightning Strike V is being allowed to grow and mature in a natural setting (which means he is out on the mountain with his peers).

Art Dekko TT

Also sired by AUDACIOUS ps, Art Dekko was named Reserve National Champion Junior Stallion in Tulsa against many of the finest horses in the breed. This beautiful stallion will show in Scottsdale and in Las Vegas at the World Cup in April. ART DEKKO is owned by Noel Bosse and is being handled by Jeff Shall.
